An excellent weekend with a brilliant group. All arrived on Friday night for pizzas and catching up under the marquee here at Kayantics HQ. Saturday got off to a good start with a a big breakfast, followed by a canoeing adventure on St Marys Loch. We paddled up wind and through the waves to a good spot to make camp for lunch. We had taken all cooking equipment and food with us in the boats, so once we landed on the shore it was quick work to then get a good fire going, a few hot drinks on the go and start cooking the BBQ style lunch over the fire.
After lunch it was a swift paddle down wind back to the vehicles and return back to Kayantics. The afternoon was at a much more relaxed pace, a “come and have a go” style axe throwing session on our new axe throwing site, which is part of the Kayantics bushcraft school. After this there was a gin tasting experience, before the group went out and did their own thing for a meal and good time in the town.
We enjoy these types of tailored weekend adventure bookings. Blending a number of the different things we offer into an unforgettable experience organised and planned around what you want to get out of a weekend away. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you would be interested in planning something like this with us!
