We have two traditional shepherds huts on site which are available to book year round and offer a great alternative for holiday accommodation in Scotland. Located next to the river and in a sheltered, off road location, take a break and enjoy their rustic charm. Each shepherds hut has a comfortable double bed, cooking facilities, a BBQ and a private bathroom and shower.

Each Shepherds Hut includes:

• A double bed
• Bedding
• Stovetop cooking facilities
• Tea & Coffee making facilities
• Crockery, glasses & cutlery
• A wood-burning stove
• A BBQ & Fire area
• Private Bathroom & Shower Area

Hut 1 can sleep up to 4 people which makes it perfect for families. In this hut, there is one double bed and two single beds set up as bunk beds.
Hut 2 sleeps 2 guests and is perfect for a couples getaway or for those passing through Moffat. 

Bedding is provided and towels are available if required.
We allow fires on site. Each hut has a BBQ and Fire pit area and logs and kindling is available to buy from the local petrol station. 

Visit Moffat 

Moffat town centre is a short 5-minute walk where there are many bars and restaurants. On Friday and Saturday there are wood-fired Pizzas available on the Kayantics site – just ask to see the menu when you check-in!
